TWEEDIMAGEIn the world of clothing design, trends come and go, but they say style never goes out of fashion!

Here at Pennline, we always try to keep up to date by offering our workwear customers the widest range of styles and fashions, from classical formal clothing through to the latest casual designs.

One trend we have noticed recently is the revival of more retro-looking styles , such as tweed fabrics and oversize “Baker Boy” style caps.

A great example of this is the Memphis tweed waistcoat from the Brook Taverner Business Casual Collection.  This smart-looking unisex waistcoat is available in sizes small (34/36″chest) through to XL (46/48″ chest) and in four great shades – charcoal herringbone, grey/brown check, navy check and navy herringbone.  The colour options make it an ideal choice for combining with a wide range of other garments to make a customised and stylish look for your team.  The fabric is a 460 gsm wool/polyester blend with a Teflon coating to repel spills, making it suitable for the hospitality industry as well as office environments.

The traditional “Baker Boy” style cap is also enjoying a revival, and the Heritage cap from Beechfield is a great example of this classic design.  Available in three herringbone colour ways – brown, charcoal and navy – and is two size options, this cap is a great addition to any smart-casual workwear wardrobe.

Also from Beechfield, the Melton wool marl baker boy cap is manufactured from a high quality 80:20 wool/viscose blend, and is also available in two sizes – S/M and L/XL.  The Melton wool cap come in one colour only – charcoal marl – and features lots of vintage detailing in additional to its eye-catching silhouette.
