BEAT activity tracker

Modern technology impacts positively on most aspects of our lives, and this is also true in the world of promotional merchandise.

A relative recent addition to Pennline’s range of corporate marketing items is an exciting collection of so-called “wearable technology”, which is a term used to describe activity trackers designed for measuring and reporting metrics related to physical activity, such as energy expended and distance walked.  Some devices also monitor heartbeat and quantity/quality of sleep.

Most models are worn on the wrist and synchronise to a smartphone or computer, for longer term data analysis and, if desired, information sharing via social media.

Examples of wearable technology offered by Pennline include the following:

“Activity Tracker Premium Plus” – This neat, black device tracks calories, steps, sleep and even UV exposure. Supplied on a comfortable and stylish TPU strap, this Bluetooth-enabled device keeps you up to date with information from your smartphone such as calls, texts, emails, voicemails and social media via notifications on the wristbands’s screen.

BLE Oled Energy Band” –  This device is also Bluetooth enabled and monitors and reports steps, activity levels, speed and sleeping patterns.  It also features a time readout on its OLED (organic light-emitting diode) display, offering a convenient all-in-one replacement for a regular wrist watch.  These stylish wrist bands are water resistant and available in five distinctive colour optins – black, grey, orange, yellow and green.

“Beat” – this attactive black and blue device features a built in laser for the monitoring of heart rate.  It also tracks metrics such as calories burnt, steps taken and sleeping patterns, and also includes a sports timer functionality.

“Edge” – With its OLED backlight and LED display, this smart Bluetooth monitor syncs to the wearer’s smartphone via a free APP for iOS or Android devices.  Available in blue or black finish, the Edge is water resistant to 3ATM.

Other technology devices include the “Thermo Jack”, which connects to a smartphone via the earphone jack and measures the temperature and humidity of the surroundings.

In terms of personalisation and branding opportunities, these wearable technology devices generally offer a single location suitable for printing your company logo or motivational tagline – please contact the team at Pennline for more information on the available printing options.
